5 more to go

I need to announce! I can't hold back any information about it. I am simply overwhelmed by the fact of it and can't wait for the number to decrease. The thought of it makes my belly dance. (not belly dancing though) I know there is so much things to do, so much in-store for me. God please keep me sane.
5 more.. 5 more months to ORD.

Army Life --- your choice!

Many said that army life is totally sucky, however I believe that it is your choice. Well, my chapter at Jurong camp ended yesterday. I will be re-vocationalized to a new unit this coming monday.
Jurong camp bought me many memories, it is by far the longest unit I have ever spent time in. I was posted to 30SCE as a combat engineer; plant operator vocation-wise. Going through CEC (Combat Engineering Course) was a pain for me by the fact that I had to handle demolitions. Since I am not keen to stay in the course, I thought I might as well declare my medical status. Soon I was put OOC (Out of Course) and spent my time in S2 department. My friends told me that I shouldn't have downgraded since plant operator is an easy vocation. However to think about it, who will bear the consequences of my injury if I ever get myself into such a state. The fact about my medical status doesn't change on the basis on whether I don't downgrade or not. I am downgraded to C1L2.
My life couldn't be any better now. If you are the kind that like challenges and leadership position, then go for it. Well... army life... .. your choice.

FAA

It was a Failed Attempt Again for my green lace male (betta). This time round I have paired it with my marble copper female. The couple seems quite compatible to each other when I introduced them to one another. The female was even spotted bouncing around (literally) the whole tank, being totally oblivious to the male's presence. Of course a few chasing and biting completed the job of taming the female down.
The couple started mating yesterday. Female swims towards male and male starts embracing her in a "U" shape curl, much gentler towards her now. However each embrace was a failed attempt, male was inexperience and female was too excited to stay still.
Today morning I saw the female at her cosy corner, releasing her eyes and feasting on her own caviar. Well, I am not seperating them till sunday and we will see what's the result of it.

FANtastic BBQ

Well... I have a fantastic BBQ last night. Althought the group was small (Weiliang, Annisaa, Kaisheng, Adibah n' me). We all agreed that it was one of the most well-organized BBQ, in terms of food, entertainment factor and all. The sting-ray was naughty.. Really HOT!!!Hahaha.. Spent the night at Liang's place to play Heroes of the might and magic... and boy...it was tiring.. I almost fell dead when I reach home. Probably due to the flu...
Well.. this will remain as wonderful memories to me before entering NS.

10 days more to NS

Hahaha.. As the title suggests.. I have 10 days more to the enlistment date. I guess alot of things will change once I enter NS. I am pretty excited about it and at the same thing, nervous. Hmmmm.... I have so much to overcome; my physical being, my medical being, my emotional and mental aspect of it. Well.. I must thank God for moulding me along the way for this big day. My internship program at Intervet was for moulding me mentally and emotionally. My mission trip to philippines, cebu, built me up physically. ( How about climbing a vertical hill without steps and climbing equipments?) Well... I guess I am more or less prepared now. Well... Good things await for those who earnestly seek God and walk uprightly... and I pray that God will fulfill all these promises in due time.

" Those that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength.
They shall mount on wings like eagles.
They shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint."

Well... I am holding on to this promise and will never let go..!!!!

I'm 21!!!!

Well.. a little update.. I didn't make it for SI..but no regrets as I have enjoyed myself. The confidence I have built on from this experience will help me go a long way. The compliments and comments I had from the judges were good and constructive and I like most of it. Though Ken Lim said something funny.. "something like your voice is not warmed up... and you didn't sing with enough dynamics.
" Well.. boy.. he must know that the audition was held at 10am ...How long does it takes a professional singer to warm up... ??? The answer is 8 hrs...... Sigh.. Anyway.. I didn't even bother to argue with him... Hhahaha.. So I guess its kinda not his fault.. since he is not a musically inclined person.. unlike Dick and Douglas..

Wow... Time flies.. I am already 21... officially on the 30th of June. Can u believe that!!??? Well.. I must say that I have alot to thank God for..... the party, the friends, everyone, each and every situation he sent along my way. I thank Him for helping me to grow and to be closer to Him each day. I had a wonderful birthday party that day... reallie enjoyed myself very much... Dwayne helped with the games, mc and crowd control, Alison with the designs and decorations and aunty Ivy with the cake and buffet... and everyone who played a part in my special party..one that will always remain as sweet memories to me.

Singapore Idol

It was a long night for yesterday. Went for Singapore Idol audition with my friend, Dwayne. Initially, I was suppose to join idol search with him however I felt very uneasy about joining the competition and feel that perhaps it is not God's will for my life.
However I prayed about it and attempted to sign up online several time...each attempt was unsuccessful and this add on to the uncomfortable feeling. Just yesterday, I told God that I will try one more time and if it does not work, I will treat it as His will for my life. Guess what? My last attempt was successful and behold I was registered. I guess the uncomfortable feeling came from the fact that I was unable to register.. perhaps..perhaps. Next thing I know was that we rushed down to queue up for the audition after "Prayer and Praise" and boy... there were so many people around. I thank God for friends that kept us through. Norris, Tim, Daryl even Caleb who stayed and endured with us through the storm (literally, there was a huge thunder storm that spoilt my $15 umbrella). Not forgetting Pastor Lau for the drinks and umbrellas, Uncle Jimmy for transporting the food and for taking care of us, Aunty Leona for the fish n' chips and chng teng... Wow! It was like we already won the competition... Hahhaa
Yeah.. and also thanks to Pam for her prayer and concern.
*Yawn...very sleepy and tired... .God is good.... Really enjoyed myself, especially when we were bracing through the storm. This will always remain as sweet memories to me. I thank God for it! Sweet Jesus!
